Greenland Supermarket

My wife is Pregnant and goes to this store all the time to buy groceries. We have two kids. We struggle with making bills so our government assistance food stamps helps us with buying groceries on the way out of the store my wife noticed tables with pastries on it to the right of the store as you’re walking out she grabbed two pastries somewhere around nine dollars worth and when she went to pay for it with my kids they laughed at her. They laughed at my wife, my kids, mom in front of my children because my wife tried to pay with EBT. They made fun of her. They took the products away from her and they said only Visa debit and credit, and then started speaking in a different language back-and-forth to each other laughing and making jokes the only thing my wife could understand them saying was EBT as they laughed hystericallyas a father I’m humiliated every month when we get our money, we go back to the store to spend our money there. We will never be returning back. We will never shop at the store again when I tried to call the Greenland store to speak to a manager what I was told is that the owner and all of the managers speak Korean no one there speaks English, so not only was my family mocked, and my wife laughed at in front of our children while she is currently pregnant. I can do nothing about it. I can’t call. I can’t complain. There’s no manager I can speak to because I guess that whole store has no managers that speak English nothing I can do except let others know about my wife’s experience and get the word out how my pregnant wife was treated and no longer shop with this company which is a shame. It’s across the street conveniently located and we loved their products but in a day we’re customer service is slim to none the way my family is treated is all that matters.
